The Hotel Butterfly, BW Signature Collection in Zermatt was a delightful retreat during my recent city trip. From the moment we arrived, the warm and friendly staff made us feel right at home, even preparing take-away food for our early departure! the location is superb – just a short walk from both the train station and the city center, making it convenient for exploring. the chalet-style room was spacious with a balcony offering stunning views of the Matterhorn, plus a big screen smart TV for some evening relaxation. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast with a variety of choices to fuel our day's adventures. the shared lounge and garden provided a peaceful escape, and the wellness area with a Finnish sauna was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of skiing. Although we were eager to catch the sunrise over the Matterhorn, we found it a bit challenging as the hotel was locked early in the morning. Nonetheless, this minor inconvenience didn't overshadow our overall fantastic experience at the Hotel Butterfly. If you're looking for a cozy Alpine escape with modern amenities and a touch of Swiss hospitality, the Hotel Butterfly, BW Signature Collection is definitely a top choice in Zermatt.
